Transaction

Transactions are account movements with your custody accounts / portfolios. These are used as an overview for deposits/withdrawals, dividend distributions or even the trading of securities.

By selecting the Transaction tab, there are options in the top menu or through the context menu to create, close, edit or delete an existing order.

Transactions to orders are linked to each other, e.g. deleting or editing this transaction also results in a change in an order.

      Types of transactions

      Deposit

A deposit is the process of replenishing the broker's account with money.

       Withdraw

A withdraw is the process of withdrawing funds from a broker's account.

       Interests

A way to create your own interest distributions for the broker account.

       Fees

A way to create your own fees for the broker account.

       Tax

A possibility to create your own tax payments for the broker account.

       Dividend

This represents a dividend payout of a security to the broker's account.

If the data query of the historical prices provides this data, an automated calculation of the dividend distributions can be carried out by the program with the "Automatic Dividend" option.

Transactions of a respective security are then automatically created while the corresponding security is in possession.

       Transfer

A transfer describes a movement of money or securities from one custody account to another. A transfer can only be edited in the respective depot from which the transfer is made.

       Buy

An order usually results in an account movement. When creating a new position/order (long buy or short sell), this is represented as a buy transaction.

       Sell

An order usually results in an account movement. When closing out an existing position/order (long sell or short buy), this is represented as a sell transaction.
